About the emblem

The House Lux Noctis emblem is a study in balance, transformation, and inner illumination. Framed by the house name above and the guiding principle “As above, so within” below, the design reflects the belief that the external and internal worlds are mirrors of one another. What we cultivate inside shapes what we create and embody outwardly.

The alchemical symbols anchor this philosophy. The upright triangle crossed by a line represents air, intellect, and conscious thought: the realm of awareness and intention. Opposite it, the inverted triangle evokes water, emotion, intuition, and the depths beneath the surface. Together, they form a dialogue between mind and feeling, structure and surrender.

At the center, the crescent moon opens upward and to the right, a gesture toward growth, becoming, and forward motion. It cradles possibility rather than closure, inviting expansion into what is not yet fully known. The two four-point stars above it act as guiding lights and points of clarity, insight, and navigation through darkness.

Altogether, the emblem embodies the essence of House Lux Noctis: a commitment to self-exploration, the integration of opposites, and the pursuit of truth and connection through both light and darkness.

The House Colors

The house colors are tertiary, which by nature are blends that only exist through integration. Neither singular nor absolute, tertiary colors live in the thresholds. Requiring intention to create the hues, they reflect the idea of moving beyond binaries and into complexity.

A rich teal represents calm awareness, emotional intelligence, and growth through understanding. The vivid purple of the surrounding elements speaks to desire, transformation, controlled intensity, and the liminal space between light and shadow.

They reflect the lived experience of balance, where opposing forces are not simply held, but transformed into something deep, intentional, and entirely one’s own.
